An exclusive presentation of the companies Raytheon Anschütz and Aqua Signal, Glamox Group, was held to the Croatian public from the maritime and shipbuilding sector on May 16, 2013 at the hotel Villa Kapetanović in Opatija.
Guests had a unique opportunity to learn about new solutions of Raytheon Anschütz’s Synapsis integrated navigation enhanced with surveillance capabilities. During the demonstration, many were able to try out the navigation simulator and get acquainted with the new command capabilities of the SmartBlue surveillance system.
Aqua Signal, Glamox Group, presented LED technology in shipbuilding and integrated searchlight control systems. Guests were introduced to the great advantages of LED technology like energy efficiency, longer lifetime and reduced maintenance costs. They had the opportunity to see the latest LED lights and lamps, marine searchlights and luminaries as well as the operation of the exhibited lighting samples.
Not even the rainy weather was able to spoil the good mood that prevailed during the entire event among more than a hundred guests in the beautiful atmosphere of the hotel Villa Kapetanović with a panoramic view over the Kvarner bay. Crocon used this exclusive opportunity also to celebrate its 20th anniversary of successful business with Croatian clients and foreign principals. Therefore, during the evening, Crocon introduced general managers and sales representatives of the strongest foreign companies it represents, companies like Raytheon Anschütz, Aqua Signal, Eucaro, Savinox, Honeywell, Synectics, Schwepper, McMurdo and a new principal in Crocon's portfolio, the company GEA Westfalia.
This whole day gathering lapsed in an extremely positive atmosphere, with gastronomic creations of exceptional chefs of the restaurant Laurus at the hotel Villa Kapetanović, the entertaining cabaret of Rijeka’s RiTeatar and the gentle notes of the violin and piano of young talented musicians.
Considering the unique educational training that these presentations offer to Croatian clients, we are positive that Crocon will, in the future as well, organize similar events in Croatia and bring representatives and experts of the strongest foreign producers of shipbuilding and maritime equipment.
